Course 1 - A Foundation for Professional Service - Sales and Wine
This program defines the roll of a server with training that can be implemented upon returning to work. Through interactive games and video students will learn fundamental principles that produce a professional server, as well, they will develop a foundation of wine knowledge which will set them up for life long learning.
The course focuses on the importance of suggestive selling and how selling creates a relaxed dinning atmosphere for the customer while putting the server in charge of the table, check and tip. A detailed video demonstrates and explains the fundamentals of opening a bottle of wine and wine education begins by defining the identity of the eight primary grape varieties. The course finishes with reviewing how wines identity is impacted by Mother Nature and the wine maker.
