Sales and Service 201: Understanding Grape Varieties
This seminar begins with a review of the servers job description, the importance of suggestive selling and how wait staff can build their credibility with customers. We will roll play five different sales situations including how to approach the table, finding an alternate to the trophy wine sale, and suggesting an alternate to the same old same old. Finally we will define the identity of eight primary grape varieties, review the process of evaluating wine, and taste the eight primary grapes.
